Investigation of manifestation of optical activity in anisotropic crystals

Summary:

The special features of the manifestation of optical activity in the anisotropic absorbing crystals are described. The influence of optical activity on the characteristics of the transmitted light depending on the wavelength of incident light, temperature, orientation of optical axis and inclination is shown. The results of investigation of the some crystals of different classes of symmetry are given.
